Orumaea is the name given to the main continent of a planet created by The Creator. It is one of the first planets created by The Creator, and was only artificially aged by the train to the point where there were plants. No other life had evolved.

The plan was to transplant a small test society from Earth to this new planet, and the people of Easter Island were selected as this society because of their issues with disease and running out of natural resources.

The name derives from old Easter Island words for "pig" and "rock" because the continent looks sort of like a pig on the map provided by The Creator. The continent's name is usually used as the planet's name too.
